Butter

Butter our Cat...

What do you do when a cat wants to live in your house but 3 out of 5 people are allergic to cats? Butter has been hanging out at our back door for the past two days. Each time someone comes in or out of our house the cat sneaks into the back porch.   We gently push the cat out. I picked up the cat and then found out that I too am allergic to cats. It was a rainy day and it broke my heart to push this cat out into the rain.

Eddie named it Butter, Madeline wants to name it Buttercup. We need to find this poor cat a home. In reality a cat would be the perfect pet for our family but we would have to buy a tanker of Benadryl for our family to keep a cat in the house.

Tonight we went to buy cat food for Butter. I know it's stupid idea but the kids were afraid that the cat would starve.  Eddie went outside twice to "play" with the cat.

The pet situation in our house is a heated topic. Cooky is our 14 year old Lab and he is getting old. We think that he is deaf. I think that he just old and tired. Shaggy is our other dog that we inherited. He is an Old English Sheep dog that has the personality of a toddler. He wants lots of attention and is constantly following me around. This is nothing like waking up to a big white fluffy face. Shaggy want to guard his food and growls at anyone that walks past his food bowl. He is a work in progress.  He is just a goofy dog.

Have a good one..
